Connections

"Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?" |Amos 3:3|

**

Connect to the people who speak the same language as you. Connect to people who believe in your vision and your goal. Connect with people who see the fruition of that goal. Connect with people who will encourage you to keep going; who will not be a stumbling block to you, even in the midst of challenges. Connect with people who are not going to discourage you in what you have been called to do, but support you, pray with you, and see progress with you. Hard times come, challenges come; but there are different kinds of people who, despite these moments, will uplift and speak life into you, so that you may see the blessing that you are looking for.  Sometimes we don’t see that our circle needs to change; sometimes we don’t see that some people’s positions around us need to shift. Because when you are weak in faith, you want someone who can encourage you, not weaken you further, not plant seeds of doubt, not make the road ahead even more daunting.

And to make these connections, you must have wisdom, so you know that you’ve made the right connections. There are people in life that appear as though they’d be good for us, but in the long run, they’re a stumbling block. I pray that the distinction will be made clear in our hearts, those who are for us, helpful to us, and destined to help us, and those whose presence will destroy the vision. May God help us.
