Stop living in the future, and enjoy the present. These small, seemingly insignificant, repetitive steps are creating a beautiful tapestry that will leave you awestruck one day, if you keep working at it.  Enjoy today. Even if you are starting over. Even if it looks as though there isn’t much to celebrate. Even if things could be better. You may not perceive it with the eyes of your heart, but you are blessed and highly favoured. You are like a well-watered garden, a spring of water whose waters never fail. Do not be moved by what you see. Do not lean on your own understanding. You are doing well. Be well.

“So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?”  Or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”  |Matthew 6: 31-33|

I live in a world that demands the best of me, a world that asks me to achieve, a world that has no excuses for failure because I must make lemons out of lemonade. Too many times I forget to stop, look around me and realize that I have blossomed. I forget to see how far I have come and enjoy me as I am now. Count your blessings because you are blessed; see what you have now and be grateful for your current position sit in it and continue to work on you but don’t let life pass you by because you feel you have not yet blossomed. "- @embracing_the_plussize_me
