There's a quote attributed to Nelson Mandela that says, "May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears."
I hope to live this out this year. I hope for my choices to reflect the vision that is in my heart, the hopes in my heart and the dreams that I've always had. I hope that regardless of discomfort, and time, and challenges, I'll make choices that, when I look back, I'll affirm that it was worth it. May my choices not reflect assumptions or fears, but may they be decisive and reflect a new era of doing things. May the choices that I make this year reflect who Jesus has created me to be. And may those choices be uniquely mine.
